Integration of seven islands of information to achieve a more efficient NAS Information process -- by collecting information at its source and disseminating accurate and timely aeronautical information to all users.
Our Organization
The NAIMES program achieved the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 registration in August 2001. The NAIMES team adheres to the NAIMES Quality Management System in all key process areas such as Resource Management, Product Realization Process, Measurement & Analysis, and Process Improvement etc. in order to continuously improve its ability to provide quality information and services to its customers.

- NAS Resources (NASR) System supports the day-to-day management of NAS data used by the FAA to produce various aeronautical publications.
- United States NOTAM System (USNS) [a safety-critical system] collects, maintains and distributes NOTAMs for the aviation community.
- Defense Internet NOTAM Service (DINS) system [a joint FAA/DoD modification of the USNS] provides NOTAM products in a near real-time manner to customers over common user communication infrastructures.
- NOTAM-IP distributes NOTAM products in a near real-time manner to Towers and TRACONS over common user communication infrastructures.
- FAA AIO (CIO) approved Internet Access Point (IAP) services.
- NAS Network Information Center (NAS NIC) provides information information and services that are mission critical to operation of the NAS.
